He holds a B.S. in physics, but has spent the vast majority of his professional career working as a software engineer with areas of expertise in Python, Node.js, AWS Cloud, web developement, data engineering, and devops. He enjoys leveraging these skills in the worlds of comparative genomics and bioinformatics to produce tools only possible through interdisciplinary effort.
